Ghawwas - pearl diver.

One of one, hand-loomed in Kashmir. Oatmeal base with a navy corner motif and border of ivory and pale blue flowers with mustard leaves. Hand-finished sozni embroidery in silk thread, with a fine hairline edge.

Composition: Kashmiri pashmina (12-14 micron)

Weave: Plain weave, hand-loomed on a 19th-century pit loom
