Bulbul - nightingale.

One of one, hand-loomed in Kashmir. Oatmeal base with a teal and rust corner motif and a teal border of saffron and rust rosettes. Hand-finished sozni embroidery in silk thread, with a fine hairline edge.

Composition: Kashmiri pashmina (12-14 micron)

Weave: Plain weave, hand-loomed on a 19th-century pit loom
